South Korean tire giant Nexen Tire, which has recently focused on increasing the environmental safety indicators of its products, has introduced a new model of eco-friendly summer tires for use on small and medium-sized passenger cars in the European market.
The company, whose name is an abbreviation of the two words "next" and "century", similarly named its new development. The "N" in the name means the manufacturer's name, i.e. Nexen Tyre. The word "Blue", meaning a sky-blue color in English, is associated by the manufacturer with the color of "refreshing coolness". The "HD" abbreviation in the name means "Handling", i.e. handling.
Features of the Nexen N'Blue HD tire
The marketers of the Korean company address the new automotive tire, first and foremost, to sophisticated car enthusiasts who drive on roads in small and medium-sized passenger cars, such as the Ford Fiesta, VW Polo, Opel Corsa, Hyundai i20, Ford Focus, VW Golf, KIA Cee’d and Hyundai i30. The new model range of the South Korean tire industry is presented in 34 sizes for wheels with diameters from 15 to 18 inches. According to Nexen Tires, the company's engineers, when developing the tire, focused on improving handling, wear resistance and safety. The specially developed rubber compound for the new tire has "eco-friendly materials" in its composition. The development of the tread pattern was carried out to improve stability and reduce noise levels.
Thanks to the use of various innovative technologies in the development and production of the Nexen N'Blue HD, the new tire has a low weight and high rolling resistance, which promises to reduce fuel consumption during operation.
The newly developed tire, presumably specifically for Europe, the new Nexen N'Blue HD tire, is expected to appear on store shelves in Spain, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria, and possibly on the domestic market next year with the onset of the summer season.
