The new Ikon Autograph Snow 5 from the Russian manufacturer is a full-fledged winter system designed for regions with harsh climates, where the road turns into a polygon of snow, ice, and frost. Each technological detail of the model is aimed at overcoming the main winter challenge: loss of traction. Dynamic stability and aggressive traction
The basis is a directional tread with numerous block formations, evolved through innovative solutions. Multiple blocks form a powerful support zone, responsible for straight-line stability on packed snow and cleaned asphalt. This structure minimizes deformation, increasing the tread's resource. Angular blocks with elongated diagonal edges work like snow hooks, providing aggressive grip and cross-traction in deep and loose snow. Their location and stiffness guarantee predictable handling during maneuvers.
Ice control
Safety on icy surfaces is provided by a high-density system of three-dimensional lamellas of the new generation. Each of them has a complex geometry with reinforcing internal ribs. This creates hundreds of sharp, independent micro-edges that "bite" into the ice, providing unprecedented braking and acceleration on black ice. Internal ribs maintain the structural integrity of the block, preventing its deformation and ensuring clear feedback.
Low-temperature flexibility
The key element is a winter compound with silica additive. It retains high elasticity and flexibility at extremely low temperatures, which is the basis for traction on cold asphalt and ice. Special additives prevent the "hardening" of the rubber, ensuring soft and quiet rolling, as well as increasing resistance to cuts and wear from abrasive reagents.
