Summer tire for SUVs and crossovers Hankook RA43 Dynapro HPX belongs to the High Terrain category models. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on asphalt roads, showing grip stability, ease of handling in turns, along with fuel efficiency, acoustic comfort, and high mileage.
Improved traction on wet surfaces
In a number of markets, this model is positioned as an all-season tire. This is due to its improved traction properties on slippery surfaces, which are provided by several features at once. First of all, this is the tread pattern, the central part of which is dotted with so-called "three-dimensional" lamellas, narrow slits with serrated edges and vertical walls with numerous protrusions. Such features provide the formation of numerous sharp edges in the contact patch, which increase traction and braking intensity on any slippery surface. The walls of the lamellas with protrusions limit the mobility of the blocks in which they are cut, which gives the traction properties additional stability during longitudinal accelerations. The next important feature that determines the effectiveness of the tire on a slippery surface is the composition of the rubber mixture.
Acoustic comfort
Among other advantages of the tire, it is worth noting the high level of acoustic comfort. To a significant extent, this is ensured by the optimized placement of tread elements, which are located at a certain step relative to each other. This feature prevents the formation of resonant noises and vibrations that occur due to the rolling of the tire and the mechanical impact on its internal components, which has a positive effect on the comfort inside the car.
Key features of Hankook RA43 Dynapro HPX
- a large number of 3D lamellas enhances traction and provides handling stability on any slippery surface;
- the optimized scheme for placing tread pattern elements improves acoustic comfort, reduces rolling resistance, and prevents wear;
- a special compound improves traction on wet surfaces and increases tire mileage, giving it greater resistance to abrasive wear.
