Rigid ribs and blocks provide lightning-fast response of the tire to the driver's actions, which significantly simplifies control over the car, especially when driving in a dynamic style. Wide longitudinal grooves maintain reliable traction on wet surfaces, reducing the risk of aquaplaning to a minimum.
