The Dynamo Snow-H Arctic winter tire belongs to the so-called "friction" models, being designed for use, predominantly, on snowy and icy roads. The tread pattern is distinguished by a high density of lamella cuts. Several types of slots are used here. In addition to the 3D lamellas that have become classic for winter tires, so-called "micro-pumps" - round holes that additionally dry the contact patch, holding water, enhancing the coupling properties on an icy surface. The effectiveness of the slots is significantly increased due to the use of a special rubber compound with a high content of "silica". This compound retains most of the tread elasticity even at extremely low temperatures, allowing the tire to more closely fit the smallest irregularities on the road surface.
