Although the Bridgestone Turanza ER300 summer tire cannot be attributed to the novelties of the domestic market, it still enjoys popularity among car enthusiasts due to a number of advantages. In addition to attractive prices, the main one is the almost ideal balance of all key characteristics. This was achieved through the use of very effective technological solutions.
Asymmetric Tread Pattern
One of such solutions is the asymmetric tread pattern of the Bridgestone Turanza ER300. It is divided into several separate zones, each of which improves certain operational properties. In particular, the outer side of the tread provides the tire with stability in turns, and the inner side - stability and reliability when driving straight.
Increased Silica Content
In the development of this model, the main attention was paid to the rubber compound. It is through this that the tire demonstrates most of its numerous advantages. The compound used in the production of its tread is distinguished by an increased silica content, which made it possible to significantly improve the traction properties on a wet road and at the same time increase the wear resistance.
Reinforced Sidewall Construction
Like many other tire products from Bridgestone, this model is equipped with reinforced sidewalls. Additional layers of tread made them more rigid, and therefore more resistant to any aggressive impact, from contact with curbs to impacts when driving over road irregularities.
Low Noise Level
Despite the large number of separate blocks on the tread, this tire demonstrates a very low noise level. This was achieved through the use of computer simulation technologies. With their help, it was possible to select such a combination of forms, sizes, and arrangement of tread blocks, which generates a minimum of resonant noises and vibrations. This significantly improves the acoustic comfort while driving.
Main Features of the Bridgestone Turanza ER300 Tire
- The asymmetric tread pattern demonstrates excellent efficiency in any road conditions due to the division into several functional zones;
- The compound with increased silica content improves traction on wet roads and resistance to any type of wear;
- Reinforced sidewalls increase reliability, ensuring the integrity of the tire during operation even on the worst roads;
- High level of acoustic comfort due to the use of computer simulation tools in the development.
