The Voltair Vi-3 cargo tire, produced by the Volzhsky Tire Plant, is designed for installation on the wheels of all axles of four-wheel drive trucks "Ural-IVECO", cargo trucks of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant, as well as the MAZ-938 semi-trailer.
The design of the tread pattern of the Voltair Vi-3 tire allows it to be confidently attributed to the category of increased passability tires. The tire tread is equipped with a multitude of separate blocks of original shape with sharp edges, which, arranged in a "herringbone" scheme, form powerful soil grabbers consisting of several blocks.
Features of the Voltair Vi-3 cargo tire
In the center of the tread, the soil grabbers, composed of blocks, form a single central rib. Such a scheme for placing functional elements of the tread has many advantages.
The traction and coupling characteristics on complex road sections in terms of passability are significantly improved. On the other hand, the single central rib contributes to a reduction in rolling resistance and a more even distribution of the load, which leads to a reduction in fuel consumption and an improvement in the strength characteristics of the tire.
The Voltair Vi-3 tire is produced in three different versions, designed for various models of cargo trucks.
