In combination with a different control program and an increased compression ratio, this allows the engine to develop 150 horsepower instead of 135 in the previous version. The "shelf" of torque has dropped significantly downward. The engine reaches its maximum torque of 235 Nm at 2650 rpm. The Kazak is supplied to the South American market with both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The latter was developed by the French division of Punch Powerglide and is designed for a torque of up to 550 Nm.

In terms of equipment, the South American version is identical to the Russian one, differing only in the number of trim levels, of which only three are offered - "civilian" Optimum and Luxury, as well as "off-road" Expedition. The "basic" version is distinguished by the absence of an automatic transmission, some comfort equipment, and a simpler interior trim. Most of the equipment can be returned for an additional fee, along with the Eaton locking differential on the rear axle. It is present in the "luxury" trim, as well as the automatic transmission.
