The UAZ Patriot is a full-wheel drive off-road vehicle with a frame structure. It is the successor to the 469 model, the famous "goat", developed in the late 1950s. In August 2013, the manufacturer introduced an off-road vehicle with a transfer case of South Korean production Dymos with electronic control. The next restyling was carried out in 2014, when the car received an updated front part with changed bumpers, headlights, seats, as well as an improved chassis. In addition, a multimedia system with navigation and a rear-view camera was added to the list of options. In October 2016, an updated version was presented again. The radiator grille, front panel in the cabin, gearshift lever were changed again, and the steering column became adjustable. In addition, seat belts with pretensioners appeared, and the two fuel tanks were replaced with one capacity. The list of equipment was supplemented with front airbags and a stability control system from Bosch. Another significant update occurred in the fall of 2019. A version of the off-road vehicle with a hydromechanical transmission from Punch Powerglide appeared on sale. Versions

In addition to the passenger version, the off-road vehicle was produced in a whole range of variants. The 2.3-liter engine with a power of 116 horsepower provided much more convenient control of the heavy off-road vehicle, due to good traction capabilities and comfort when working with the gas pedal.
