A 2.7-liter inline-four gasoline engine with an electronic fuel injection system from Bosch, producing 112 horsepower, is used as a power unit. It works in "pair" with a 5-speed manual transmission. "By default" the transmission works with rear-wheel drive. The front wheels are connected mechanically using a special lever in the cabin. In this mode, traction is distributed in an equal ratio between the front and rear axles. The transmission features a transfer case that allows the use of a reduced gear range in heavy conditions, offsetting the low traction of the gasoline engine at low revs. The manufacturer allows the use of 15- and 16-inch discs and tires on this car.
