    Tires on Tata Altroz (Тата)

Tata Altroz has been part of the Indian brand's model lineup since 2020. As a "supermini" hatchback, it became the first vehicle in the brand's history to be created independently by the company.

    Initial Version

The car was built on the modular ALFA platform, which also made its debut with this model. The simplest version of the platform is used here, with a transverse engine layout, "MacPherson" struts at the front, a semi-independent beam, and drum brake mechanisms at the rear. The hatchback's design was executed in the new Impact Design 2.0 style at the time, and its length does not exceed 4 meters, allowing owners to receive a preferential tax rate. Despite its compact size, the car's trunk can hold up to 345 liters of luggage. The base versions had a 1.2-liter gasoline "trio" from the Revotron family with 86 horsepower under the hood. As an alternative, a 4-cylinder diesel engine with turbocharging and a capacity of 1.5 liters from the Revotorq series was offered, also developed by the Indian company. Both power units worked in tandem with a 5-speed manual transmission. An alternative to it appeared only in 2022 - a 6-range "robot" with two clutches. In addition to it, a "charged" version of the Racer with a 1.2-liter turbo engine under the hood, developing 120 horsepower, appeared in the lineup. This power unit was combined only with a 6-speed "mechanics".

In terms of equipment, the car stood out favorably against the background of previous brand models. The base version offered two airbags, air conditioning, rear parking sensors. More expensive trim levels added to this set climate control, a multimedia system with satellite navigation, a rearview camera, and Harman acoustics, as well as a button to start the power unit, cruise control, light and rain sensors.

    Modified Version

In the spring of 2025, the Indian brand presented the model of the next generation. It differed from its predecessor with massive changes in the design, affecting almost all body panels, which stood out with less pronounced sides and recessed handles of the front doors. They retained the ability to open 90 degrees. The base versions were equipped with halogen headlights, and more expensive trim levels implied the presence of LED sources, as well as combined rear lights illuminated by a strip.

The interior of the car underwent no less significant changes. Here, a new front console Grand Prestigia appeared, which in the top version contains 10.25-inch displays of the instrument panel and multimedia system. At the middle trim level, the diagonal of the screens is reduced to 7 inches, and in the "base" - analog scales and a plastic plug in the central part. Another innovation was the two-spoke steering wheel, which, like the six airbags and the stability control system, is present in the initial configuration of the car. As additional options, 360-degree cameras, a sunroof, and a "blind" spot control system are offered. Depending on the trim level, the hatchback is equipped with 14- and 16-inch tires and disks, which, among other products, can be purchased in the online store "Mosavtoshina".
