It is also necessary to highlight the presence of a large number of aluminum parts in the chassis, which had a positive effect on handling and, along with the placement of the battery in the trunk, made it possible to achieve an equal weight distribution between the axles.

Among the features of the car's interior is the presence of a "puck" on the central tunnel for controlling the transmission, which rose after the engine started. The standard equipment already included an 8-inch multimedia system, and in more expensive trim levels - with a 10.2-inch display. Both versions provided for the presence of satellite navigation and control of most of the car's systems, as well as the possibility of using a smartphone with the installed "proprietary" application for this purpose.

Updated Version

In 2019, the sedan underwent a planned modernization. Compared to its predecessor, it differed in a more aggressive exterior design, with different bumpers and rear lights. Already in the base version, the car was equipped with LED lighting. The interior underwent even more significant changes. Instead of an analog instrument panel, a 12.3-inch display appeared, which, along with the steering wheel, was "borrowed" from the i-Pace crossover. It also shared the central console layout with two touch screens and a pair of rotating handles. The characteristic "puck" transmission control was replaced with a classic lever. Other door cards appeared, which differed in a more ergonomic arrangement of handles and buttons for controlling electric windows and rearview mirrors. In technical terms, the update was reduced to a reduction in the available components for installation, primarily engines. The engine range consisted of inline "fours" with a volume of 2 liters - a 180-hp diesel and two petrol engines, developing 250 and 300 hp.
