Holden Commodore – a car from an Australian manufacturer that began its assembly line journey in 1978. The model was produced for several decades, going through four generations. Its production ended in 2017.

Historical Background

The first generation of the car was built on the basis of the Opel Rekord. Notably, the German manufacturer supplied "bases" for the "Commodore" until 2006. The manufacturer equipped the car with a fully independent suspension, as well as ensured an almost ideal weight distribution of 50:50. This made it possible to significantly improve the maneuverability of the transport. The engines were transferred from the previous generation, with the exception of the V8.
