The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is a car with a rich history that began as early as 1954. During its existence, the model has managed to be a sedan, coupe, and hatchback in various configurations. The updated version of the "Giulietta" appeared in 2010. However, despite good sales of 420,000 units, it ended its assembly line life in 2020 in favor of the more popular Tonale crossover.

In 2010, the company introduced the third generation of the model, which, although remotely reminiscent of its ancestors, was still a completely new car. The "basis" for the car was a specially developed Compact platform, consisting of high-strength alloys, aluminum, and composite materials. The car was only offered with front-wheel drive, and its front suspension featured a MacPherson construction, while the rear suspension was a multi-link design. This combination allowed for maximally responsive handling while maintaining a high level of comfort.

In 2016, the car underwent a restyling, which slightly transformed its exterior, and several new colors appeared. Among the technical updates are an increased touchscreen for multimedia control and various functions, all sorts of network services, rain, light, and other sensors.

2019 marked another transformation. The main changes affected the power units, which were brought into compliance with the Euro 6 standards. Under the hood, a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 120 horsepower now works. Two diesel engines, 1.6 and 2.0 liters, are also provided, paired with either a manual or a six-speed robotized transmission.
