I recommend this set of tires for purchase. They hold water well, are not noisy, and for their price, the quality is acceptable. We've been driving on them since November, haven't tested them on black ice, but they're perfect for a southern winter.

Very soft sidewall. Not UHP at all. The tires arrived straight "like a bagel". Handling is affected accordingly. Balanced normally. We'll see how it will be in winter.
