The tread pattern is designed in an asymmetric design with a large number of small blocks. The numerous sharp edges formed by them allow for intensive acceleration and deceleration, especially on snow. The traction properties on more slippery icy surfaces are provided by thousands of edges of lamellas that cover the entire tread. Efficiency on dry clean asphalt is achieved by increasing the width of the tire's tread and the arrangement of pattern elements that make the contact patch larger.
