I've driven a season on this Chinese product. About myself - I'm a rally driver, an instructor for emergency training - I really know how to drive, I drive fast, but safely within the traffic rules. Before this, I drove on an excellent budget "Yolka" Tigar Touring (I'll be comparing it to this one), but the demise of the tired tire from a sidewall blowout forced me to urgently buy a new one, and I only had enough money for this thing. All athletes say that Westlake is brown, I decided to check it out personally, and the cost of buying experience is not great. Size 165/60-14

Let's start with the pros, of which there are few.
The first and most significant - the price, it's cheaper than anything, except maybe for Kama.
The second - comfortable, the sidewall is very soft, it swallows bumps and small potholes pretty well.
The third and last - with directional stability, everything is fine, it doesn't wobble in the ruts. That's it.

Neutral.
First - even when warmed up, it holds on somehow.
Second - it wears out quickly, but at its price, it's expected - the cost per kilometer on all civilian tires is roughly the same. TW360 hints at durability, after 15,000 km, about 40% of the tread was gone on the front axle when measured by the indicators.

Third - in the off-season, it's directly a disaster. On the Kormoran, I calmly survived the first snow - down to -5°C, it remained soft, and the "Yolka" pattern with lamellas gripped the snow pretty well, roughly like an all-season tire. Here, it's directly like skis - at zero, it becomes plastic, the pattern doesn't grip anything. Even moving around the yard at 20 km/h on the first snow, I wouldn't call it safe, let alone driving to the tire shop or waiting out the first snow. Luckily, I had winter tires lying around at home, assembled on disks.

Now the cons.
The first comes out of the second pro - it's damn soft, the steering wheel feels like cotton, tilts - it's a disaster, like I installed springs that are twice as soft, on the Moose test, the rear end swings - at first, it was really scary to drive on it.

Second - it's noisy. There have been worse ones, but after the Tigra, it's noticeably noisier. After switching to the Nordman RS2, my ears started to rest.

Third - it noticeably becomes harder at temperatures below +15°C. In the heat, it holds on reasonably well and isn't as noisy, but as soon as it cools down at night, all its characteristics drop before your eyes.

Fourth - it holds poorly on wet asphalt. It holds on, but the budget Tigra held on better due to its pattern and softer compound (although the TW on the Tigra is 400 vs 360 on the Westlake).

Fifth - aquaplaning. Before this, I only caught aquaplaning on semi-slicks, I thought it was impossible on civilian tires. On the Tigra and winter tires, I calmly drove through puddles at 130. This miracle, in heavy rain, in the ruts, starts to aquaplane at speeds above 90 km/h. It doesn't even aquaplane smoothly, like a semi-slick, but confidently goes into a skid! The experience is interesting, but no thanks.

Sixth, and the most significant for me, which is why I'm selling it - it's crooked! Directly really crooked. Even during the initial assembly on the balancing machine, it was visible how 2 out of 4 tires were jumping. I thought they were stored incorrectly, that it would settle in - no. I thought it was assembled poorly - no, I reassembled it on different disks - it jumps exactly the same. I balanced it several times - everything was zeroed out, but at speeds above 100 km/h, it starts to vibrate noticeably in the steering wheel. I put the crooked ones in the back, it got better, but there's still vibration throughout the body. It feels like driving on a trough. On two sets of disks (original GM cast disks and KUMZ forged disks, perfectly even), the situation is identical. Moreover, in the heat, it vibrates less, but as soon as it cools down - driving on the highway turns into a nightmare. Above 100, it's uncomfortable to drive, at 130, you start to worry about the hub bearings and slow down. In general, it's a fiasco.

Conclusion. I was ready to put up with its design flaws - for such a price, you don't expect miracles from a tire. But with the quality of manufacture, it's impossible to put up with - it's not just that it's fast, it's uncomfortable to drive on it in principle. If you only drive in the city center, it's still okay, but when you drive on the MKAD or out of town, you start to openly suffer. I don't know what people who praise it are comparing it to, I don't know if they actually drove on it, but my experience says that, overall, this tire is that same yellow-brown mass. Even at such a price. Maybe even Kama will be better.
