Instead of Continental ExtremeContact DWS, I took Westlake All Season Elite Z401 in the fall. I thought that with the onset of cold weather, I would switch to winter tires. The size is 215/45/18 XL. As a result, I drove the entire winter without any problems. Highway, city, dirt road, mud, 5+ snow, excellent, icy rain (on the edge). Very sturdy. They concede to Continental only in terms of comfort. Before buying, I studied all European reviews (it has been sold there for a long time). Conclusion: price-quality ratio, probably, there is no equal, an excellent option for a four-wheel drive car. I would take it for the second time 100%.

I've reviewed this tire based on reviews and descriptions - a maximum number of positives... I agree - for summer (such summer) it's not bad at all. There's no noise. In terms of handling and braking - also good impressions. Balancing is fantastic - 10 grams per wheel. The tread is aggressive, but not intimidating, I hope the traffic police won't have to prove that it's possible to drive on such tires in the summer. The tread is not very deep - that's the only minus, about 7 mm, maybe someone will write more accurately. I think these tires will allow me to change to winter tires outside of the hectic season of the first snow. For winter - studded tires!
Well, I've already reserved the same tires for my second car.

Regarding all-season tires (A/T class), there are doubts because the transition from the rolling surface to the sidewall is made like a regular highway tire, whereas in real A/T tires, this transition is equipped with a special tread (such as Hankook DynaPro ATm RF10 or Yokohama Geolandar G015) that protects this transition and helps to move on deflated tires. On snowy slush, it moves forward very confidently, but brakes with early ABS activation (compared to winter tires). What was very pleasantly surprising - the silence!!! Very quiet tires compared to the "native" Belarusian "AstartA" (most likely, the model is called "Start")!!! Traffic is 99% urban.
