Tyre reviews Torero MP-30 Sibir Ice 2. Page 1 135

I purchased the 205/70/16 tires at a very favorable price at the beginning of autumn. Naturally, before buying, I viewed most of the market offers, and Mosaavtoshina did not leave any chances for competing sellers. In fact, the necessary size of studded tires was only available from Torero, so I chose it. I had no doubts about the quality - it's the old good Matador, which, unlike new brands that have mainly come from China, I trust. Russian production does not bother me at all, on the contrary. I installed them quite recently, and they are still in the run-in mode. My first impressions are as follows: the tires are quiet on asphalt (I'm comparing them to Nordman 7, which is installed on my second car), possibly due to the small number of studs. How this will affect their performance on icy roads remains to be seen... The tires seem to lack a bit of suppleness, although the sidewall is very soft, and the tire feels a bit stiff. They were balanced well, and I have no complaints. For a stock Niva, I consider this size optimal, so you can buy them with confidence. I have nothing more to add about their operation for now.
The purchase process, delivery, and manager's support - everything was at a high level. Most likely, I will use their services again. I did not have to pay extra for delivery to the company's pickup point, and I also did not need to make a prepayment. In the end, I am very satisfied - with both the service and the product. What more could I need?

I bought them last autumn. I drove very actively - almost 20 thousand kilometers in a season. The impressions are mixed. Firstly, I was extremely surprised by the noise - for studded tires, you can say it's almost non-existent. What they came up with there, I have no idea, but there's hardly anything to complain about.
I recently changed them - the tread is like new. I didn't notice any loss of studs.
Now, about the passability. When driving on snow, they don't get stuck. In the yard, I can drive calmly when others are skidding. But when you exit the snowdrifts onto cleared asphalt, it feels like the tires are getting rid of the snow that's clogged them, and the first 10 meters I always drive carefully. Maybe I'm being overcautious, I'm not sure. And on dry asphalt - everything is perfect.

Over two winter seasons, the tires have proven themselves to be quite worthy. On icy roads, the Passat holds itself confidently and predictably enters turns. What was particularly pleasing was the performance on packed snow - the tires confidently hold their trajectory and self-clean.
In the first season, almost no studs fell out, in the second - only a few were lost. Now the third year is coming to an end - I will see when it's time to change the tires, but according to my sensations, the loss is minimal. At least, when inspecting the tires in a covered and dry parking lot in the mall, I didn't notice any significant loss of studs.
As for comfort, the tires are not too noisy - only a slight rustling can be heard in the cabin.
In freezing temperatures, the tires remain elastic, do not become brittle. For understanding, the thermometer column in our area has never dropped below -25°C. Therefore, in conditions of extremely low temperatures, I don't know how the MP-30 behaves.
During the entire time I've been using them, no serious problems have arisen. I think they will last for another couple of seasons - I'll need to check the tread in a year.

Before the last winter, I decided to change the tires on my Mitsubishi Lancer. I live in a region where the roads are often covered with ice, so I was looking for a studded model - I wanted more confidence on slippery sections. In the end, I chose the MP30.
After installation, I immediately felt the difference: on ice, the car holds much better than before. Acceleration became more stable - there are no more wheel spins, the wheels grip the surface.
In snowy conditions, the tires also perform well: they do not get stuck in the snow, maintain controllability even on loose surfaces. You can drive calmly without fear of getting stuck.
On asphalt roads, there is a characteristic hum for studded tires, especially at speed. But it's not strong enough to interfere with conversation or listening to music in the cabin.
On the highway at a speed of around 100 km/h, the car drives stably, without unexpected skidding. Braking is effective: the car stops quickly and clearly, there is no feeling that it can be carried forward.

Excellent winter tires for harsh conditions. Good grip on rolled snow and ice. On fresh snow, they bite normally, do not get stuck. Over two winters, I haven't noticed any loss of studs, minimal wear.
