Excellent tires, quiet and performing well in any conditions.

I purchased the Pirelli Ice Zero FR 3 235/65 R18 110H XL tires based on good reviews and a relatively affordable price, with the manufacturer listed as Italy on the website, which was a deciding factor in my purchase. However, upon receiving the tires, I was slightly disappointed to find "Made in RUSSIA" written on the sidewall, and based on my extensive experience with vehicles, this usually means that the money was wasted. Russia has never been known for producing good tires. The fact that the tire casting was of poor quality was immediately confirmed during balancing on perfect cast wheels. The minimum weight of the balancing weights was 40 grams, and the maximum was 100 grams. Import tires do not allow for such weights, with a maximum of 15 grams.

After 3000 km of driving on wet and dry roads in November, and on snowy and icy roads in January and February 2026, the tires showed confident handling on asphalt and on soft, thawed ground, but on wet snow, there were noticeable skids, deviation from the trajectory when turning, and when braking, the tires slid like on linoleum on ice. The noise level was slightly higher than stated on the website and in reviews. Due to the large weights of the balancing weights, an effect of unbalanced small bumps on the road appeared at speeds over 120 km/h.

In three months of use, I had to balance the tires three times.

The tires do not meet the claimed quality and the manufacturer is incorrectly listed on the website.

I purchased 265/45R21 tires, which turned out to be a complete disappointment. They do not provide any grip on ice, have poor traction during acceleration, and poor adhesion to ice during braking. The Treadwear index is not indicated on the tire at all, the tires wear out quickly, and accordingly, they will last for only 2-3 seasons. The extended Pirelli warranty does not apply when purchasing, although when receiving the tires and documents with the check, the employees said that you can register the warranty by check. As a result, the warranty was denied.
