Tyre reviews Pirelli Ice Zero FR 3. Page 1 59

I really liked them. For a harsh winter. I compared them to another car with Michelin Nord 4 tires. Not new, but fresh. At -10°C, on snow and packed snow, from 60-80 km/h to 0, the Pirelli FR3 stopped 10-12 meters earlier. Handling is also normal. The only thing is that at around zero temperatures, it drifts straight, although for this type of stud, I think it's normal. In terms of feel, it's not worse than Michelin Nord 4. Pirelli Ice Zero 2 is also studded. Although I didn't compare them head-to-head on black ice, but in terms of feel, it's roughly the same. So I recommend them. The silence in the car is unreal. I'm switching to another car with Ice Zero 2 tires. It feels like these studs are right next to my ear.

Advantages: Wheel quality. Everything is OK. Tires were released in week 24 of 25.
Disadvantages: None
The rubber is indeed very soft. Tread depth is 8.4 mm. I am very satisfied.- Size:

The tire is super, it drives on wet roads no worse than summer tires, brakes and turns, which is not unimportant in the off-season or in a low-snow winter, it's quiet, which is a fact, and on an electric vehicle, nothing interferes with assessing this. Snow, snowy slush goes like a tank, it holds traction super well when changing lanes without any hint of skidding, even at high snowbank heights. Packed snow (in the right lanes) holds very confidently. Ice holds very predictably, with skidding present, but it's programmable and only on specifically polished ice. This winter in Moscow and the region was a success, so I think the tire worked in all modes and proved that it's super. Daily mileage is 150 km, of which 100 km is on the highway (M1). I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

This is probably the best tire. Generally noiseless (quieter than summer ones). Load 116 on the tire, i.e. for heavy SUVs - okay (265/65/17). Better than Michelin for sure (had one before).

Excellent tires, the sidewall is thicker than the FR, and they perform better on all surfaces, a definite upgrade. When prices were normal, I drove on the 7th Conti, then switched to the FR, this is a worthy replacement for Conti.

Tires are soft, they hold well on ice. And in terms of noise from such friction, there's nothing to compare with yet. It's unknown how they will wear out, but the tread depth is small

Excellent tire. Quiet is the most important thing. I didn't notice any difference in sound compared to summer tires. Soft, which is good for winter. There are no major drawbacks yet, but I'm sure it will show itself to be excellent. The tread is like Michelin's for 40k.

Decided to try "studs" for the first time. Previously, I drove on spikes in the winter. And I was pleasantly surprised, it's perfect for the city, it goes smoother and quieter. I didn't notice any drawbacks, it handles ice, loose snow, packed snow, and slush well. A couple of times I drove out of town, 200 km from St. Petersburg, and everything was excellent.

Great tires. I'm trying out studded tires for the first time. Very comfortable, quiet, and soft. Treads excellently. On turns, it doesn't skid, clearly holds the trajectory. Didn't encounter completely bare ice, but brakes well. I have a lot of experience, having driven on very different tire models, so I have something to compare with. These wheels really impressed me. And the winter in my region is quite harsh. Delivery took a considerable amount of time, but everything arrived neatly. Manufactured in the 35th week of 2025. Well, it's a 2025 model. Very good price. Thanks to the seller.
