He was using it as an all-season car (he used to drive it all-season and didn't have any problems). He didn't have a chance to check in summer. In winter it was worse than in summer. It doesn't hold the road, and won't drive on snow. If there's even a slight skid or, God forbid, ice on the road, it's a death trap.
