I was choosing winter tires for a long time, with a budget of up to 5,000 rubles. I read a lot of forums and websites, but the answer turned out to be very simple. I have a Hyundai Solaris 2012 (note to the site administration, the car model is not in the list) and I bought Kumho tires on summer rims. I liked them very much, they are good tires, so I decided to buy the same winter ones and I don

    Bought last autumn, size 215/60R16.
Snow is blown in better than Nokian Hakkapelita 5 (which was installed previously),
on the ice there was no difference - both were studded, behaved well,
directional stability on the go in the slush was slightly worse than Nokian, but also at a high level - very predictable.
Overall is hard and very noisy on asphalt at positive temperatures, on

I didn't lose any studs over the winter. The soft sipes work well for braking, but just like any other tire, they also pick up stones, which make a maturely menacing sound when driving over asphalt. At a speed of up to 70 km/h it's quieter than the summer Nankang NS-2. I spent a couple of days on the ice track: all predictable and understandable. I didn't get any unpleasant surprises. I get a 5+ on the snow

Previously, I used Hakka 5, Gislaved 5, Yokohama IZ30. KW22 is at least as good as the previous one. My car is a 2012 Toyota Corolla 1.6L. The car has been used for 4500km. Handling: holds well up to 160-180 km/h. Snow traction: 5+. Skids on asphalt, just as any studs do. Noise level: average. Overall, a worthy

I bought them new last autumn. The price was a pleasant surprise (11,000 RUB for a set of 185/65 R14). They seemed a bit noisy during the break-in period and on dry asphalt, but on snow, there was complete silence. They handle the road perfectly, braking, and handling at high speeds. They don't behave confidently in slush and on bare ice, however, it would be unreasonable to expect strong traction on ice at this price point. To date

    Hello,
I've made over 25,000 km with this tyre last season, of which over 70% is on the track. Last winter in Ukraine was full of surprises, so the road crews did not always cope with their task of removing snow from the road.
The tyre fully met my expectations, after driving on studded tyres I came back to regular friction tyres and I'm more and more leaning towards studded tyres.
    I was very pleased with

Excellent tire. I've been using the second season. Roads were different - both in the city and on a snowy highway. I've already driven on it four times on a long trip to Ukraine in winter. After crossing the border, I got into such blizzards that I would stop and spend the night. However, thanks to the very good traction and passability in deep snow, I maintained a speed of 80-90 km/h without any hesitation. I was very pleased with the low

    Quiet tyres are her virtue!
How she holds the snowy and icy road I don't know, driven very little in real winter conditions. This year winter will not reach Moscow. A bit drove on a snow patch, holds well. Did not drive enough on the ice to make any conclusions.
    Size 205/60 R16
+ relatively inexpensive, satisfied with the purchase.

Purchased new for the winter of 2011-2012. After theft of the Hakkapeliitta 5 set from the garage, installed on the car in November. Did not see snow until mid December. Pretty quiet on asphalt, but you need to be more careful in the track, especially on wet roads. Ice on asphalt - good. Packed snow - good. The car's behavior is predictable, you can feel the moment of blockage and the beginning of skidding. The

Not bad tire for the price!
Great on snow, enters and exits corners without significant slip, predictable drift...even on ice!
BUT! On ice, when braking on a straight line, it's like without studs, as on a summer tire )
