Tyre reviews Kormoran All Season. Page 2 88

I've been driving a car for several days every 1.5 months in the Kaliningrad region. For our climate, when the winter is rainy and the summer is not hot, tires are the most optimal option, without any re-shoeing. I especially liked driving on sand, I have something to compare it to, Kormoran is just a beast.

Purchased for summer and seasonal changes. Main use: tracks and dirt roads. The tire is soft on its own, and the large number of deep tread patterns can be felt during sharp acceleration and braking. Cornering is relatively stable. I haven't tried it in winter, nor would I, as I have studded tires. It's loud above 90. I recommend it for 4x4 vehicles if you need to venture onto dirt roads.

I don't know how it will handle, but it looks cool! My wife immediately noticed that the car is quieter now. Even compared to summer tires. The mileage per year is not large. I bought it for Europe as an all-season tire. And the borders are locked...

These Kormoran tires have been in use on rural dirt roads for 3 seasons, I needed a traction prototype on dirt roads for a passenger car with a high profile, they withstand increased loads on potholes and gravel, I also drove a lot on mud and wet grass. On the highway, I accelerated to 160-170 km/h, the result is good, the tires hold the road well and dissipate water wonderfully.
They turned out to be very durable, not a single cord or hernia appeared during use.
In winter, on snow and ice, such tires are no longer suitable, unfortunately.
I think such tires will be perfect for crossovers and cars with higher clearance.
It's a pity that they are no longer available or on sale, I would like to take them again, but with a wider profile. I recommend them for rural roads, the highway is also okay:)

The tires meet expectations and the price-quality criterion, of course, considering their all-season nature and the fact that they are mainly used in the south of Russia. Although they also handled a trip in December-January to Moscow and back to Astrakhan with dignity, even when the temperature dropped below -30°C. They are not afraid of aquaplaning, they handle dirt on the road and light off-road well. They are not designed for harsh operating conditions, but are comfortable on decent roads. And when buying on a promotion for over 6,000 rubles for 215/60R17, it's just great. The main thing is to drive on them without fanaticism, not demanding the impossible.

Tested in all modes: dry asphalt, rain, snow, ice. They hold the road well, are quiet, and fuel-efficient. Driving is comfortable. I bought them for Crimea for year-round use. Just what you need. I recommend.

They hold the road perfectly, behave very dignified in the heat and the noise level is low. I've been driving on my second set of wheels in Sochi. In winter, through the snow in the clearing and along the asphalt by the sea. I don't put on summer tires, the rubber copes. The price is acceptable!

Very good tires in terms of wear resistance, noise level (not noisy), handling in any weather, and passability. Of course, you can't compete on bare ice in them, but for calm driving, they're perfect. They're said to be designed for temperatures down to -5, but in fact, they stay on the car all year round. They don't get stiff in the frost.

Purchased in February '22 at a still acceptable price. Installed on the car in early April. Haven't seen winter, so can't say anything about winter operation. I want to note the really good resistance to aquaplaning. At a reasonable speed, of course... On a loose dirt road - like a cow on ice))) In this regard, I'm a bit disappointed, I expected more. But it drives pretty aggressively in reverse))) . Quite quiet. In general, a sturdy middle-class tire...
P.S. One star for winter operation is only due to the requirement to fill in the fields...
