Tyre reviews Ikon Autograph Ultra 2. Page 1 17

The first few kilometers showed that the tire clearly exceeds the capabilities of the car. The sidewall is even stronger than the Nokian. And the braking is very reliable.
To somehow bring the car's capabilities up to these tires, I promptly installed brakes from Santafe on it. And pads from Reckton. The tires didn't even feel it. They can handle a much heavier car with even more productive brakes. This is the first plus.
Balancing and circumference. Without any tricks with selecting the orientation on the disk. Just 25 grams per wheel. And perfect balancing. 170 on the Moscow Ring Road like 20 in a traffic jam. No vibrations or beats. Rail-like stability on a straight line, not according to the car's class. And amazing resistance to sidewall collapse on a bend. A demonstration of grip in all its glory. But the hum. In my opinion, the same as that of winter tires IG 60. A lower tone. And it changes when the front axle is lightly unloaded. Some kind of half-rustle is added. I haven't tried it up to a squeal.
I can definitely recommend such tires for any civilian car. There is, however, a small drawback. The minimum diameter for the Ultra2 model is 17". Why not 16? You can also argue with Ikon marketers. Who addresses these tires to powerful sports cars. Modest compact cars with older engines for the model are very suitable for these tires. Especially those where additional soundproofing is done.
It's worth noting separately. My family is of a simple kind-tribe. We do not belong to hereditary nobles, communists, merchants of the 1st guild, or oprichnina. Just like we don't belong to mafia diasporas. And we only deal with these categories if forced to, and on a kickback basis. And I never help them in anything. Which means ultra-high performance is not about us. But even at normal modes and speeds, the tire demonstrates its quality. And, by the way, it cools very well. On Hankook, when warming up at typical speeds, the pressure increased to 50 psi. Here, in the morning at +8, the pressure in the tires is 230. And during the day on the Moscow Ring Road at 115 km/h and +20 outside, the pressure is only 255 psi.
That's my review.

A decent tire, excellent handling. Doesn't pull into ruts, Comfortably passes joints. Balanced with 5-10 gram weights. Was expecting it to be quieter in terms of noise, but in fact it's the same as the Nordman SZ, the noise doesn't irritate, but is noticeable after winter tires.

No complaints about mounting on the disk and balancing. Handles great both at high speed on the highway and in the city. Braking is excellent, aquaplaning is normal, didn't have the opportunity to check. On dry asphalt, traction is excellent when starting quickly, on wet roads, it wheelspins a bit. Holds long turns on the highway at high speed. The low noise level is highly exaggerated. As for wear resistance, I can't say, but I think it will wear out in 3 seasons with my driving style. Makes noise like all my previous Nokian tires.

Driven only a few thousand miles. On the highway and in the city, they behave well. Previously had Hankook Ventus S1 evo3, didn't notice a significant difference.
