I'd like to note that I've driven about 2500 km on these tires and haven't encountered snow or ice yet. I decided to write this review for future buyers since there are currently very few reviews available, and I have a good understanding of tires, so it might be helpful to someone.

This model will perform well on ice, I'm confident it will be better than my previous Michelin X-Ice 4, but in snow, handling, and noise, it will lose to it.

The tread compound is very soft to the touch, noticeably softer than the almost new Michelin X-Ice 4 of my wife (2022), the Hankook 429 of my father with 50% wear, and the new Nokian 8 of my brother. The lamellas are cut frequently and deeply, which is typical of friction tires, and they are much more mobile than those of the Michelin X-Ice 4 (this will provide good traction on ice, but poor handling). The distance between the tread blocks is very small for this size, which will again be good on ice, as it provides a larger contact patch, but will be worse for self-cleaning in snow (may float in slush) and will have poor traction properties. The edge of the tread is smoothed out like European tires, while Scandinavian tires have a more pointed edge, and Michelin has a stepped edge, i.e., it will also be reluctant to exit a snow-filled rut.

The sidewall thickness has become thicker than the previous Nokian and Ikon models, it's dense and elastic.

Judging by the photos from the model presentation, the internal flange of the stud is very wide, i.e., the studs should not protrude even despite the softness of the tread compound.

The noise turned out to be very unpleasant. In addition to the clicking of the studs, a changing low-frequency hum is audible, very uncomfortable. My wife's Captur with Michelin has almost no hum, although the noise level is clearly not better than mine.

In general, as a summary, the tire turned out to be purely focused on icy roads, and by improving some characteristics, it lost others, namely, snow traction, self-cleaning, and directional stability. As a good alternative, I would recommend the currently available Pirelli Ice Zero 2, as it is more balanced in terms of characteristics and quiet for studded tires. But Pirelli has one major drawback, it can be poorly balanced or even wobble (eight) on a flat rim. If you take Pirelli, it's better to do it in a store nearby and agree on the option of returning which balloons in case of defects and be present in person during the tire mounting. This Ikon was balanced with rotation on new SKAD disks 60g, 55g, 30g, and 25g and spins very evenly, despite the 65 profile.

Noise is present because there are many spikes, but overall it's quieter than the previous model, it hums in a narrower speed range and then subsides. We'll roll back the season and see how it shows itself.

Bought today and immediately went to change, the Nikis tire shop had a hard time balancing them.. Weights 80+30, 80+20, 80+10 and 60+20. Also, two of the four wheels had a runout of about 3mm left-right, the disks are not to blame. I thought about returning them, but decided to keep them. Went for a drive, they are quite noisy, of course, but I hope they will get quieter as they wear in, although with such a number it's normal, the noise is from the studs, not the hum from the large tread. How they will behave in winter - we'll see. On the plus side - they are not stiff. Other characteristics will be seen in real winter mode.

They were balanced with difficulty, a bunch of weights were stuck on, meanwhile I removed the summer Pirelli tires - there were a minimum of loads.

The disgusting tires in terms of noise! This tread pattern produces two types of sounds, a low noise from the tread pattern, but the most disgusting thing is the high hum from the lugs, which is already unbearable from 40 to 100 km/h.

Most likely, I will sell it next season. Given that I bought V-class for long comfortable trips, I'm not going to tolerate this orchestra. Tires to the fire.

Good tires on snow hold pretty well in terms of noise, like many winter tires, a bit audible, but not critical. When driving, there is no hum from the tires. So far, I've been driving at speeds of no more than 80 km/h. The price is adequate for R19. Operation in the north of the Republic of Komi.

Took the test pickup HUANGHAI N7
Tires IKON TYRES Autograph ICE 10 SUV
Just as winter began, I drove 6,000 km on the pickup in 2 weeks.
Studded tires drive perfectly on dry asphalt, after rain, and especially well in snowy slush.
Those who have driven pickups know that the problem of an empty body and the loss of rear axle traction is a concern.
The tires try with all their might to keep the pickup on track, and they succeed, well, I'm not a racer.
In general, I'm pleased with the test.
I have experience driving on ICE 9 tires on my personal car, and here, Ikon seems to have not only preserved the characteristics but even improved them.
As for tread wear, the factory "rubber nubs" have come off, and not all of them at that. Visually, the wheels look like new after 6,000 km.
Either the pickup's standard sound insulation isn't very good, or there are too many studs on the tires - there is a sound background when moving. Not critical. All studded tires sound louder than summer highway tires.

Bought as a replacement for the old Hakkapeliitta. I live out of town, so snowdrifts and ice are regular for us. The tire copes with its task 100%.

Handling is better than on the standard summer tires. It goes straight into the rut without understeer. On ice, the gas-brake bites well. A bit noisy, not so much from the studs, but just low-frequency hum. It was very difficult to get on the disk during installation, at first I thought it was a defect, it was hitting with an eight, but no, after the second attempt, it stood normally.
