Purchased 235/45/17. For the money, it's a good option, it handles snowy roads well, and it also performs excellently on wet/dry roads. On ice, like all studded tires, it's average. I purchased it to replace Kumho studded tires, and I liked the Formula better.

Used for 2 winters on a rear-wheel-drive car. To say I'm satisfied is to say nothing at all. Grips powerfully in snow, doesn't back down on ice either. As for asphalt — I'm silent. Quiet, soft, comfortable. Braking is also good.

Excellent tires. I'm not a particularly aggressive driver, and at moderate speeds they handle the road perfectly. I haven't driven on bare ice, but they handle snow and slush with ease. An additional bonus is the quietness. My previous tires were Michelin Alpin, those were normally quite loud. I recommend them to everyone. I hope they will last a long time.

Everything is fine

Very good tires, comfortable and surprisingly quiet, with a lot of small lamellas (large contact area), they drive confidently out of the snow, and are also good on ice for grip!

For its price, it's simply the best. I have Pirelli Winter tires on one car, and this year I put Gislaved (a copy of Continental Viking 7) on another, and Formula FR on the third. Pirelli is good, I like it. Gislaved hasn't seen winter yet (it somehow hasn't arrived), but to the touch, compared to Formula FR, it feels like a summer tire. Formula has deep tread, a lot of lamellas, it's soft, and when you touch it, it feels rough. I have no doubts that it will perform well in winter, but I have doubts about Gislaved. Although its original, Viking 7, has been a leader in tests for many years. We'll see, winter will show.
