Tyre reviews Davanti DX640. Страница 5 632

The worst tires I've ever had. I do not recommend them to anyone. They are impossible to balance! I mean, it's just impossible! I've driven them for 2 seasons, and the tire fitters would laugh at me because of these tires. It was impossible to balance them properly. Last season, I took my car to a tire shop for wheel balancing (with the original disks, which were fine) three times over the summer, and it would only help for about 1000 km. After 140 km/h, the steering wheel would vibrate constantly. The handling is terrible, and the car would be pulled to the side every time it hit a rut.
I was misled by the fact that everyone writes that they are supposedly "British", but in reality, they are made in China, and not even from a top-notch manufacturer like Triangle or Sailun.

Davanti DX640 275/45 ZR20 110Y XL FR Great tires, drove the entire summer season. No complaints or complaints, worthy tires. I don't understand why summer tires are rated for snow and ice handling, it's some kind of nonsense. The tires are very good considering their cost. I recommend. Before buying, I had doubts, since I was buying Chinese tires for the first time. I chose for a long time and was sorry to spend a lot of money on familiar famous brands that we used to buy without any problems until the spring of this year. I read reviews about these tires, as well as how many were sold, and with risk and doubt about the read reviews (with the thought that they are twisted and paid), I still decided to take a risk and buy. So, I can boldly say that the tires are worthy and no worse than brand-name ones. Speed and braking rating is excellent, but there is a small minus - resistance to aquaplaning, when entering a puddle, it floats for the first moment, be careful and in conclusion, I will say that I advise and recommend these tires.

Due to the strong and unjustified price increase of the standard tires 205/50r 17 for Vesta Cross Pirelli R7, made in Voronezh, it was decided to buy DX640. They cost almost two times less.
The tires were liked, and even wanted to replace the two Pirelli tires purchased last year with these, but the Chinese brand and low prevalence stopped me.
My concerns were confirmed, recently punctured one, a sidewall cut, and the store only has one in stock, and it's unknown if there will be further deliveries. If they can't be repaired and Moscow's Avtoshina runs out of them, where will I get a second one from?
In general, the tire is good, quiet, and handles well. No visible wear is seen after 7,000 km of highway driving.

I didn't leave a review immediately after purchase, deciding that the review would be biased without a full-fledged test drive.
At the moment, the mileage is over 9,000 km (including Karelian gravel roads). There are no complaints.
When purchasing (April 2022), of course, there were doubts - a relatively new brand.
I trusted the reviews and didn't regret it!
Previously, I had Kumho Eco Solus (which were unavailable at the time), and a similar model from Kumho was approximately 1,000 rubles per tire more expensive.
In general, I recommend!
Now I've looked, and this model is no longer available! Apparently, the buyer has tried the novelty.
Thank you!
P.S. I don't understand why the functionality of summer tire reviews includes characteristics of handling on snow and ice?!! Absurd!- Vehicle:

In the spring, I purchased new Davanti DX640 225/50 ZR17 94W FR tires and had them installed at a service center in Podolsk. I would like to note the smooth and fast work of the guys at the tire mounting service. They quickly and efficiently removed the old summer tires and installed the new wheels. The balancing process went well. Recently, I returned from vacation...based on the behavior of the tires, I can only express positive emotions. The tires are not noisy, a bit quieter than the Kumho tires I had before, soft...they handle turns normally, no slipping was observed. On the highway, I drove confidently at speeds of up to 140 km/h. I drove in the rain for half the night and everything was fine. After 2000 km, I had the front wheels balanced again...one wheel required a slightly different weight, but otherwise everything is excellent. I recommend these tires. No noticeable wear, the tires are holding up...we'll see how they perform in further use. For the price, the tires are more than attractive.

This tire is of questionable quality. It's uneven, doesn't balance well. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money. You can add 4000 to the cost of the tire and buy Kumho instead. Don't be cheap

Two tires were mounted perfectly, but the second pair is not very good. There is a slight imbalance. I installed them on the rear axle. So far, it's not making a difference. Otherwise, I'll ride them in and add to the review.

Hello, comrades, I want to share my amazement, possibly due to the fact that I didn't expect much from practically the cheapest tires in my size, but still, they have pleased me quite a bit. They handle the road well, ride very smoothly, and most importantly, almost silently. I have something to compare them to, having driven on almost all the well-known tire brands, but in today's market conditions, I'll be honest, I didn't want to overpay for Michelin at 130k, and so far, I don't regret it. The mileage is not yet sufficient to talk about durability (I've driven 3000 km), and I also can't say anything about their resistance to curbs (since I've only driven on highways). The sidewall is, of course, soft, but that's what I needed; the car has become much more comfortable to drive. And a hard tire can't be quiet; since I drive a lot, silence and comfort in the cabin are very important to me.
I'd like to warn you against prejudices; despite the fact that the tire is made in China, loved by all, it turned out to be quite good. Today, I'm very satisfied with the purchase.
P.S. I also bought TOYO tires for my second car, in the same size. I couldn't even express how many problems and frustrations I've experienced with those tires (maybe, of course, I just got a bad set). But in my understanding, TOYO will forever remain a terrible tire; it's very hard, very noisy, and holds the road much less confidently than DAVANTI, despite being "made in Japan". The price difference, by the way, is more than double.
Think for yourselves, thank you for your attention)

Bought a set, one tire is out of round.
Up to 130 km/h it's not noticeable, but after that it shakes the whole car. I've rotated, swapped, and reinstalled it, but to no avail. Previously, I drove for 5 years on Altenzo Sport Comforter 235/40 R18 tires, I went through 3 sets, and everything was fine, but they disappeared from sale. Although the price category is the same, Davanti turned out to be defective. Apart from the tire's out-of-roundness (apparently a defect or their acceptable tolerance), the tire would be normal in all other aspects.

The tires are indeed quiet, but they have a very soft sidewall. After 160 the car tries to fly away. Let's see how long they will last, but the rubber is very soft and will therefore wear out quickly!
