I was hesitant to choose tyres for my Mercedes GL 166 for a long time. I finally decided to try Davanti 295/40/21. I am extremely satisfied with the result. The tyres are identical to the expensive analogues.

There was an urgent need to purchase a set of summer tires due to wear and the formation of bulges on the old Matador tires. And since tire prices have risen sharply, it was necessary to look for more budget-friendly tire options. Generally, I have always been skeptical of tires from Chinese manufacturers, but it turned out that this was a joint development with the UK, which has passed all European quality tests (sounds promising). After reading reviews here, weighing all the pros and cons, I decided to try the products of this manufacturer. The tires are very soft, which implies excellent handling (softness, smoothness of ride) and no extraneous noises when driving.
At the time of writing this review, I have driven over 5,000 km on different road surfaces and in various weather conditions. In the rain and on wet asphalt, it behaves predictably, with no aquaplaning (of course, with the correct choice of speed). When driving on the highway at high speeds of over 130 km/h, it is comfortable, with no deviations from the road (the car goes like on rails) and no noise from the tires.
It's too early to talk about wear resistance over such a short distance, but so far, everything is fine. There have been no punctures, and I have driven on dirt, unpaved, and stony roads. The only thing I haven't done is test its off-road capabilities in mud, but let's not forget that this is highway tires.
I think handling on snow and ice will be terrible, like any summer tires, and it's unclear why this assessment is applied.
I would definitely recommend buying these tires.

About replacement with Davanti DX 640:
The criteria were:
1) Acoustic comfort;
2) Softness;
3) Resistance to aquaplaning;
4) Effective braking;
First of all, I started looking for the quietest soft tires. Next on the list was behavior on wet and dry track. As a result of the search, I found Davanti DX640 tires with noise level! According to the European standard, 68 decibels. Soft. And at the same time, reinforced on the sides, with excellent performance in terms of braking, resistance to aquaplaning, as well as wear resistance. I don't know how many kilometers and seasons this set will serve, but in the end, after I changed from Goodyear to Davanti - heaven and earth... I didn't notice how I accelerated to 65 km/h, not feeling the noise and hum... all irregularities and speed bumps pass more smoothly. Pressure 2.5. My ears are resting, I can hear the music, I can hear the conversation, Carplay speech is not muted. I'm very happy with my choice. And in the future, I will consider exactly this set. I don't even want to look at analogs. Production China, development England (cheap labor). They gave a 5-year warranty O_o.

I'm generally satisfied with the tire as a whole, it's soft and comfortable, but when driving fast and making sharp turns, I feel a slight lean, but it's negligible. It grips the wet road confidently. I've got a relatively low mileage so far and I haven't encountered any issues yet.

The choice of tyres was complicated – branded products are expensive and it's difficult to find a budget option.
The choice was between the tyres Zeta, Kapsen, Triangle and DAVANTI.
A bit about the tyres:
Triangle – the cheapest option among the ones mentioned above.
Soft tyre, but loud and wears out quickly.
Zeta – slightly more expensive, elegant design, well-riding but noisy (I bought one for the Y38).
Kapsen – more expensive than Zeta

The time has come to buy fresh summer tires, and the price tag starts at 40+...
I stumbled upon the website of the "Mosavtoshina" retail chain by accident and was pleased with the prices of the tires.
I chose the British tires "Davanti DX640", the price was very attractive, and they are not far behind the top models from well-known manufacturers, despite being made in a

Bought summer tires Davanti DX640 225/45 R18 95W for 3500 rubles per tire.
I am satisfied with the purchase, the tires are soft, they hold the road perfectly, they are not afraid of potholes, they are well-balanced (the total weight of the weights on one wheel is 25-35 grams).
After the purchase, I drove 300 km.....for such a price you won't find better tires- Vehicle:

In May of this year, I decided to purchase these tires. Now that the season is over, I'm sharing my impressions. To be honest, at first, I was a bit concerned about buying this model, since it's made in China, and I've always driven on expensive and high-quality Japanese tires. However, due to the situation on the market, there were problems with them, and they were also quite pricey this year. I started looking for alternative tires and stumbled upon the Davanti DX640 model. The tread pattern caught my attention, as it's very similar to Falken, which I've had only the best experiences with. So, here's what I found out about the tires before buying them from online research. The country of production is China, the company is from the UK, and the investors are Arab sheikhs who, apparently, have invested heavily in equipment and specialists. This was somewhat reassuring, and the price was very pleasant for 17-inch tires. In the end, after driving on them for a season, I can say that I haven't regretted the purchase for a second. They're in no way inferior to well-known brands, and the price is 2 or even 3 times lower. How they handle the road at high speeds, in turns, and in puddles - it's just excellent. We'll see how long they last, that's a different question. But for now, I can definitely recommend them. I hope this isn't just a market capture strategy, and the company will be able to maintain the high quality in the long run.

I bought it for a BMW X6 with a sports package as a budget alternative after Pirelli.
I was pleasantly surprised.
In comparison with the Italians, I didn't notice any particular difference in noise, handling, or braking. The wear resistance is better (it's not even worth talking about Michelin). The tendency to follow road grooves is noticeable, but within limits. On a rainy road, it confidently holds 120-140 without skidding or "floating". I think that if you put aside the prestige, it's quite worthy tires for a car.
I gave a rating of 1 for ice and snow because I have no idea how a summer sports package would behave on ice (and I don't want to know).

First of all, I started looking for the quietest soft tires, because what I experienced with Goodyear Asymmetric 5 was terrible. Next on the list was behavior on wet and dry roads. I've driven 7800 km so far. On the highway: it holds up to 190 km/h confidently, in the rain up to 130 km/h confidently. Cruisers and even more will hold. In the city, maximum comfort and stability in turns. In terms of price, it's comparable to pre-crisis premium, but what can you do...- Vehicle:
