Tyre reviews Cordiant Polar SL. Page 1 81

I bought Cordiant SL POLAR in November 2015 and drove on it for 7 seasons (winter) with a total mileage of 55,000 km. And, unfortunately, the tire's old age and a bulge on one wheel, naturally, I'm changing the set. The tire is 5+. The remaining tread is 7mm, and that's after 7 years. It's superb on snow, and good on ice, I never drive in the wake of cars, if there are 2 lanes in one direction, I always drive in the far left lane and calmly go 90-110 km/h without any issues. I haven't tried it on more ice or packed snow, but I repeat, it goes without any problems. The tire has worked great. I'm buying a second set, I'm confident in it. And most importantly, the weather can be -10 in the morning, +10 in the sun during the day, and 0 in the evening, it doesn't wear out, it's all the same for it. I changed it in March, and put it on in November. Krasnodar.

I put the Cordiant Polar SL on my Hyundai, but initially drove it myself as I had opted for a non-studded model and my wife has limited driving experience, so I wanted to get a feel for it. In terms of handling, the car does not feel any more difficult to drive, it tracks well on the road. Braking distance is genuinely short, and the car does not continue to move forward on ice afterwards. The tread does not get clogged with snow, it sticks well

Drove such a thing for 1.5 years on a Lada. On the road, everything is fine, and on the icy hills, I would jump out (3,000 rpm, the car stayed in place - thankfully, it didn't slip). The only minus is that they crack during storage. Small cracks have appeared. It's not critical, but it's not pretty...

Size 205/55-16, weight 9.8kg. Mainly urban usage. Bought as a trial, in fact. Good traction in loose snow, dry/moist asphalt in minus temperatures. Poor grip on clean ice, here the studding comes into play. The behavior and handling reminded me of my previous favorite Nokian Hakkapeliitta RSI (discontinued). Honestly, didn't expect such great handling from a Russian brand. They write it "floats

I spent a long time choosing, read reviews on TTC and on this site.
Thanks to all!
I was looking for a positive price-quality ratio.
Cordiant Polar SL (the "grip") was my choice.
Driving style is quiet. Sticks to the road in the snow and on ice, even with slush. Soft.
At 40 km/h acceleration it makes a slight noise.

Normal tires at a reasonable price. Holds normal on small ice and in snow.
Some noise during maneuvers on asphalt at 40 km/h.
Completely normal tires for use, no need to overpay for expensive brands!!!- Vehicle:

I put 195/65/15 H-Solaris (factory specs 185/65/15), a tire 2 cm more in diameter, so the clearance is slightly higher. Before that, I drove on "NORDMAN 4"(rim, 185/65/15), "Bridgestone Blizzak Revo GZ" (195/60/15), on Nordman it's impossible to drive on asphalt - the noise is deafening, but it snow

Renault Sandero StepWay (unfortunately not included in the list of models). Tires 195/65 R15.
Good tire. I recommend. No noise, soft. May be a bit "heavy", but for our "roads" - just what we need.

I fitted a 175/70 R13 on my VAZ 2114. The car is in good condition, so I didn't want to spend a fortune on new wheels. I bought them last winter and I'm very satisfied. The tyre has performed well through the season without any punctures or cracks. I'd say the wear is not too big, I think I will be able to get another two seasons out of it.

Price-quality-claimed features, just super!
For such money, a great choice. Never let me down, got out of such snowdrifts, terrifying to recall. On a solid ice, on an incline - no problems whatsoever!
