The Japanese tire manufacturer has been operating in the Chinese market since 1999, and the first "green" tires were introduced by it in China in 2010, when the country's government announced a course to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
The first eco-friendly tire for the Chinese market was the Bridgestone Ecopia EP100A. And in August of this year, the company expanded its line of eco-tires. And for the first time, the target audience is SUV car owners.
The Bridgestone Ecopia EP850 has become the successor to the aforementioned tire. The manufacturer assured that this tire allows for significant fuel savings when driving both on highways and on light off-road, as well as providing a high level of comfort and safety.
Tian Lun, the general manager of Bridgestone's Chinese branch, stated that in the future, it is planned to further expand the line of eco-friendly tires, which are very popular among Chinese car enthusiasts.
