The company Steve Heard Contracting has chosen Michelin tires

Agricultural equipment has a significant weight, so it requires special tires that can withstand it. This was once again reminded by Steve Heard, the head of Steve Heard Contracting. His company chose Michelin's tire products for their fleet, and they did not regret the choice made.
According to Steve, his company is far from the only agricultural firm in Leicestershire that has entrusted its equipment to Michelin's tire products. The reason for this lies not only in the high quality and durability of the tires but also in the special characteristics of the products.
For example, using a special combination of two different sets of Michelin Ultraflex, Steve achieved a reduction in soil compaction by the equipment. This is a very important fact, since the company's equipment often weighs several tons. For instance, the sprayer used in the fields weighs 12 tons. So, the issue of suitable tires is very acute.
According to the company's management, the greatest advantage of the tires is their flexibility. The special Ultraflex technology allows for efficient work in the field. Meanwhile, on wet soil, the Michelin XeoBib VF710/60 R 38 tires showed the best results, and on dry soil, the Michelin SprayBib VF380/90 R 46 tires did. Thanks to such a careful selection of tires, the risk of soil compaction has been minimized.
