Tire companies have decided to help drivers cope with the challenging conditions of the winter period with the help of the Internet.
The company Bridgestone has launched a portal in the USA www.winterdrivingsafety.com, where you can find useful tips and videos with detailed instructions on how to make driving on winter roads safer.
"Given that cold snowy weather has set in in many parts of the country, many drivers have begun to prepare for the challenging and potentially hazardous conditions on the roads," the company said in a statement. "The American branch of Bridgestone, together with its team of experts on car and tire operation in the winter period, will help drivers get rid of the anxiety they experience when driving in such changeable weather."
The company Michelin has also decided to "lend a helping hand" to drivers and presented an online "Winter Driving Academy", where you can also get advice or choose winter tires.
The site also features video tutorials with instructions and animated sections explaining how to avoid danger while driving on a snowy road.
The Canadian winter driving expert Richard Shénard helped Michelin work on the site, and he also starred in many videos for the portal.
