Summer light truck tire, released by one of our oldest tire manufacturers for various wheel vehicles, is designed to be installed on minivans and small-tonnage trucks.

The symmetrical non-directional tread pattern of the tire is distinguished by an original design of the main elements. The tread pattern consists of three ribs, located in the central part of the tread and two shoulder zones. The rib, located in the very center of the tread, has a solid uninterrupted structure throughout the tread. This made it possible to significantly improve the indicators of directional stability and grip on dry roads. In addition, the central rib of the tread is distinguished by a zigzag shape, which to a great extent contributes to the reduction of noise level when driving, thereby improving the comfort of movement.

The other two ribs, located in the center of the tread, are two rows of separate massive blocks, the shape of which is distinguished by the presence of many angles. This made it possible to significantly improve the grip when driving on roads without a solid coating. In addition, it is impossible not to note the presence of a large number of wave-shaped lamellas that cover each tread element. These lamellas allow to significantly increase the stiffness of each tread element, which significantly improved the operational characteristics of the Yaroslavl Ya-556 tire, such as acceleration and braking.

Another distinctive feature of this tire is the equipping of the tread pattern with four longitudinal grooves, which, in combination with the longitudinal grooves formed by the separate blocks of the central ribs, provide excellent traction with slippery surfaces due to the high efficiency of water and dirt removal from the contact patch.
