Released by one of the leading domestic tire manufacturers, the all-season passenger tire Yaroslavl Ya-462 is designed primarily for the small-tonnage cargo vehicle "Gazelle" and its modifications. The tire is produced in only one size, 175R16C.

This tire features a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern of original design, consisting of 7 longitudinal rows of blocks. These blocks have a complex shape, with a large number of edges and corners, providing reliable stable traction in all directions, as well as excellent directional stability.

Thanks to the large number of small-sized blocks, the Yaroslavl tire makers were able to solve several problems at once. In particular, the Yaroslavl YaSHZ Ya-462 model is distinguished by a very even distribution of external load across the contact patch, which not only improved traction on any type of surface but also significantly increased the area of the tire's contact patch with the surface. Additionally, the large number of polygonal blocks forms a multitude of sharp edges that can effectively grip any type of surface, providing reliable traction in any road conditions. Another advantage of this tread pattern design is the effective drainage system, which, due to the sufficient distance between the blocks, can easily handle not only water removal from the contact patch but also the removal of snow, sand, and mud.

It's also worth noting the high level of comfort demonstrated by the tire while driving. To a large extent, this is due to the tread pattern design, in which all blocks are arranged with an uneven step relative to each other, which significantly reduces the level of resonant noise. Additionally, this tire is distinguished by softness while driving, which was made possible due to the elasticity of the carcass. This structural element of the tire has a multi-layer structure and is equipped with a metal cord breaker. As a result, the tire is favorably distinguished by an attractive balance of high strength and excellent elasticity.
