Prinx Xnex Sport EV – the first model from the Chinese manufacturer designed for installation on sports-class electric vehicles. The tires are used in the summer period, providing excellent handling, high resistance to rupture and effective grip properties.
The tread is represented by five ribs, which are additionally provided with unidirectional notches. Reinforced sidewalls with diagonal grooves are distinguished by their resistance to deformation, which ensures confident cornering. The three central ribs with non-through semi-grooves guarantee quick response to steering.
The model has a reinforced frame that can withstand the greater weight of an electric vehicle, minimizing the deformation effect. And the presence of a large amount of silica in the compound had a positive effect on the grip properties with a small number of gripping edges. This same factor had a positive effect on rolling resistance. As a result, the tire contributes to reducing energy consumption, which is especially relevant for electric vehicles.
