The main difference from the "original" is that it is designed for operation on SUVs and crossovers. Since this category of vehicles is characterized by increased weight, almost all changes made by the South Korean tire manufacturers were aimed at increasing the carrying capacity and strength of the tire. They turned out to be quite extensive, as they affected almost all elements of its design.

An additional measure ensuring improved tire coupling on ice is special holes drilled in all tread blocks. Constructively and functionally, they represent miniature pumps that, by removing moisture from under the contact patch, dry it, thereby significantly increasing the coupling properties on ice.

The directional design of the tread of this model consists of three functional areas. One of them is the central part. Its key feature is its composite structure, which contains several rows of blocks. They have different sizes and a complex polygonal shape.
