Michelin X-Ice North 2

A new tire from Michelin called Michelin X-Ice North 2 has been created by French engineers specifically for harsh winter conditions. The tire suits most passenger cars, both imported and domestically produced.

The latest technologies have made it possible to use a new type of Michelin Full Active Tread tread in the Michelin X-Ice North 2 tire. The tread has been used to ensure the highest quality contact with the surface, regardless of the season. Stability, handling and braking on ice are the features that have made the Michelin X-Ice North 2 tire.

The Michelin DURAstud System studding system has also been used in the Michelin X-Ice North 2 tire. Twelve rows of studs are used in most X-Ice North 2 sizes. The stud protrusion is 1.2 mm, and they are held in two rubber layers: inner and contact. The new studding technology has allowed the Michelin X-Ice North 2 to significantly reduce the braking distance on all types of winter surfaces.

The Michelin X-Ice North 2 has become much better than its predecessor Michelin X-Ice North:

- safety on snow has been increased;

- ideal safety on ice;

- the braking distance on icy surfaces has been reduced by 10%.
