Improved traction on wet surfaces

The tire tread is equipped with a productive drainage system, the basis of which consists of four wide longitudinal grooves in the central part. Their ability to drain the contact patch is enhanced by numerous transverse grooves, as well as lamellas. These narrow slits simultaneously direct water into one of the nearby grooves and form numerous edges, ensuring even more traction on wet surfaces.

Increased contact patch

On dry surfaces, the reliability of traction properties is guaranteed by the size of the contact patch. It was possible to increase its area due to several solutions. First of all, this is the design of the tread, the elements of which are made massive. In addition, its profile is selected in such a way that when loaded, it gives the contact patch the maximum size. Its shape at the same time becomes almost rectangular, which has a positive effect not only on traction but also on handling and service life.
