Matador MP-15 Stella – an all-season commercial tire that can be installed on a wide range of light vehicles (minivans, small trucks). It is characterized by directional stability, maneuvering accuracy, and a long service life. All of these indicators are relevant for both dry and wet asphalt. The model is more adapted to European-type winters.
The basis of the tire is a high-strength carcass with a reinforced breaker. This neutralizes the main mass of impact loads and maintains the integrity of the structure even under intense local mechanical stress. This was largely achieved through the use of a special compound that is characterized by its elasticity and elasticity. Moreover, a number of additives in its composition maintain these properties at both elevated and negative temperatures.
The central zone of the tread is represented by a complex rib that contains both a solid ring element and block structures. Such a structure provides high accuracy of directional movement and also improves traction, making the vehicle more maneuverable. The long blocks of the shoulder zone, forming numerous engagement surfaces, guarantee stability when performing maneuvers, minimizing tilt.
To protect against hydroplaning, wide central channels with high capacity are provided, which, when connected to the side grooves, ensure rapid removal of moisture, dirt, and slush from the contact zone. Thus, the stability of the driving characteristics was achieved under various weather conditions.
