The summer tire Nexen N'Blue HD Plus is an upgraded version of the same-name model, which, despite its advantages, had some drawbacks. It was these that were eliminated in the development of this tire, which, in addition, acquired a whole range of new advantages.
One of them was improved resistance to aquaplaning. The optimized drainage system contains more capacious longitudinal grooves, and the number of transverse channels has been increased.
This model, compared to its predecessor, has better stability at high speeds. This is the result of using a solid steel cord in the sidewall and an updated rubber compound that is more rigid than previously used.
Another innovation was the compound. It is characterized by an increased silica content. In addition, when manufacturing the rubber mixture, technologies are used that make it more uniform in composition. This significantly improves the grip properties on wet roads.
The breaker located under the tread received an additional steel cord. This feature increased the tire's resistance to high speeds and also further reduced the braking distance.
In turn, stability in turns is ensured by the shoulder zones. Massive blocks are located here, the rigidity of which prevents skidding.
