The all-season Kumho Ecsta LX KU27 model is installed on passenger cars. It is oriented towards all-season use in urban conditions. It provides stability in various weather conditions, good handling, and also has minimal wear even with active use.
The asymmetric non-directional tread contains three ribs in the central part. They contribute to maintaining stability while driving on straight road sections, create conditions for a quick response, and also eliminate the possibility of skidding. Each of the ribs is equipped with small diagonal grooves, as well as small lamellas. The combination of these elements increases traction, including on icy or snowy roads, increasing driving safety. The shoulder zone lugs provide ease of maneuvering, while maintaining responsiveness to handling.
The rubber compound is supplemented with silicon-containing components, which prevent the increase in rubber density at low temperatures. This preserves the elasticity of the tread elements and, as a consequence, the traction properties.
