Structure
The longitudinal grooves of the tread are made straight. They perform several functions. First, drainage, accelerating the evacuation of moisture from the contact patch. Second, they optimize the thermal balance, preventing the tire from overheating during prolonged driving.
In the central zone, unidirectional semi-grooves and notches are applied. Straight lamellas increase traction on wet roads, and also serve as drainage elements. The result:
- excellent traction when starting and braking on a wet road;
- clear track holding.
Closed "shoulders"
The massive shoulder ribs have a closed structure. Such geometry is not accidental. When maneuvering and driving on worn asphalt, the shoulders work in the most severe conditions.
