The lightweight Nortec 16A tire is installed on small commercial vehicles that operate in an all-season mode. It is characterized by its resistance to wear, increased carrying capacity, and efficient handling on roads with different surfaces.
The tread is represented by a multi-block structure formed by separately located medium-sized elements of irregular shape. Due to the numerous edges, an improved edge effect is realized. It provides stable traction on dry, wet, and slippery roads, as well as reduces the braking distance. The large distance between the blocks contributes to the rapid removal of moisture and dirt from the contact area, increasing the overall level of safety.
The model is developed using a modern compound that is supplemented with additives that reduce the level of wear. To this, we should add a durable carcass, represented by a multi-layer structure. It effectively protects against deformations, as well as neutralizes the effects of mechanical factors. Therefore, the tire has an extended service life.
Key features of Nortec 16A:
- all-season use on light commercial vehicles;
- numerous medium-sized lugs provide reliable fixation of the contact patch;
- numerous channels quickly remove excess moisture and contaminants, contributing to the preservation of traction properties;
- a durable carcass and wear-resistant compound counteract deformation and mechanical stress, increasing the operational resource.
