Greentrac Journey-X Pro – a tire designed for installation on light commercial vehicles, intended for summer operation. The tire has been developed with intensive use in mind, characterized by a high-strength compound, efficient block structures that ensure reliable traction and braking properties.
The 2024 model was created using advanced modeling methods, which is reflected in the characteristics of the tread pattern, represented by a symmetrical non-directional structure. In the central part, there are three ribbed elements, each carrying a network of G-shaped notches. This solution allowed for the simultaneous improvement of several performance indicators. Firstly, the directional stability and response to steering (due to the central "ribs"). Secondly, the level of traction increased and the braking distance decreased (due to the presence of numerous edges that improve the density of the contact zone fixation).
The model is equipped with rigid sidewalls, which are partially overlapped by tread elements. This allowed for an increase in the effectiveness of passing snow-covered sections while maintaining reliable traction properties.
Among the features, it is worth noting the presence of silica components in the compound composition. Thanks to them, an optimal level of elasticity is maintained under various temperature regimes.
To prevent aquaplaning and increase the efficiency of contact area cleaning, four central channels are provided. Due to their significant depth and smooth walls, rapid removal of water masses, slush, and dirt is achieved.
Key features of Greentrac Journey-X Pro:
- applicability on various light-duty vehicles operated in a year-round mode;
- resistance to skidding and steering accuracy due to the ribbed structure of the tread and the presence of additional gripping edges;
- stability of the vehicle during maneuvering, achieved through multi-block shoulder zones transitioning to sidewalls;
- special rubber compound containing silicon-based components that contribute to maintaining a high level of elasticity even at low temperatures.
