Such a "substrate" has high structural rigidity and resistance to deformations. Thanks to this, the distribution of external load on the contact patch becomes more even, which, in turn, has a positive effect on both traction and tire life. Also worth noting is another element of the DURAGEN technology, namely the rubber compound. Its composition is selected in such a way as to provide the tread with resistance to wear, punctures, and cuts.
