The CrossLeader DSS02 passenger tire is designed for compact and mid-size crossovers. It is adapted for use exclusively on asphalt roads. In such conditions, it favorably differs from most analogs of other brands in terms of acoustic comfort, braking efficiency, and the ability to self-heal minor damage.
The tread pattern is designed in a non-directional design with a symmetrical structure of element arrangement. Almost all of them are represented by blocks. Their arrangement in rows with a variable step relative to each other prevents the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations, which ensures a high level of acoustic comfort. Another feature of the tread pattern design is the presence of a large number of very extended transverse edges. They guarantee high efficiency when braking and accelerating, especially on wet surfaces. On the inside of the tire, there is a layer of special polymeric material. When damaged through, it tightens into the hole, restoring the tightness of the tire.
Main features of CrossLeader DSS02
- a tread pattern with an increased number of blocks and lamellas provides excellent efficiency on wet surfaces;
- multi-step arrangement of tread elements reduces low-frequency noise and vibration;
- massive shoulder blocks deployed across the tire provide stability when maneuvering;
- the tread part of the tire is made of a compound with a high content of "silica", which improves the grip properties on wet surfaces and resistance to wear.
