The summer tyre Altenzo Sports Navigator VII is designed for modern crossovers and SUVs, whose owners spend most of their time on roads with solid surfaces, demanding high comfort and precise handling. When creating the model, special attention was paid to stability at high speed, efficient performance on wet surfaces, and increased service life. The design is adapted to the mass and dynamic characteristics of SUV-class vehicles, thanks to which it feels equally confident on both city roads and during long highway trips.
Confident movement at high speed
The tread pattern has a typical design for High Terrain category tyres, representing a combination of continuous longitudinal ribs. This solution improves the accuracy of response to steering wheel rotation and prevents trajectory deviation during intense manoeuvring. The rounded shape of the shoulder areas makes the turn entry smoother, allowing the vehicle to maintain a stable trajectory without abrupt changes in behaviour. This solution is especially effective when driving on high-speed highways.
Efficiency on wet surfaces
The tread area features wide longitudinal grooves that combine with numerous transverse drainage elements, ensuring high water evacuation intensity from the contact patch. This is enough to avoid the formation of a water film between the tread and the road even at high speeds, maintaining reliable grip. Due to the optimized arrangement of drainage elements, the vehicle's behaviour remains predictable during braking and manoeuvring.
Comfort and increased tread life
The tread blocks differ in both shape and arrangement relative to each other. This reduces the risk of resonance noise formation, so even on rough surfaces, the level of acoustic comfort remains high. Reinforced shoulder elements counteract uneven wear, which often occurs in heavy crossovers, and the modern rubber compound maintains stable characteristics throughout the extended service life. The combination of these solutions allows the tyre to retain balanced properties for a significant part of its tread life.
Key features of the Altenzo Sports Navigator VII:
- the tread design is focused on precise handling of heavy crossovers at high speeds;
- the developed water evacuation system helps maintain reliable grip during heavy rain;
- reinforced shoulder areas slow down uneven wear during prolonged use;
- the optimized design and arrangement of tread elements reduce the level of noise and vibrations, preventing rapid abrasive wear of the tyre.
