The all-season Cooper Endeavor Plus tire is designed for installation on crossovers, SUVs, and some compact trucks. The model can be used in the conditional winter period, i.e., provided that there are no negative temperatures (European winter). For our region, this is more of a summer tire, which is distinguished by improved resistance to aquaplaning.
To achieve stability of control, it is equipped with a five-rib tread of an unidirectional type, in the center of which there are three elements. It is they, equipped with unidirectional grooves and notches, that support the accuracy and responsiveness of control, making the ride as safe as possible. The wide "shoulder" zones, consisting of longitudinal blocks with wavy lamellas applied to them, increase the efficiency of the traction properties on wet asphalt and stabilize the vehicle when passing turns.
Since the model is used on heavy vehicles, its carcass contains reinforcing elements. Among such, one can note an additional nylon layer, which not only increases resistance to deformation but also contributes to the even distribution of the load in the contact patch. This increases the service life and eliminates the likelihood of uneven wear. Note that wear can be monitored using the proprietary indicator, which is a square that turns into an exclamation mark as it wears out.
Main features of Cooper Endeavor Plus
- increased resistance to wet and slippery road surfaces, provided by a multitude of gripping edges;
- excellent handling at speed, which is implemented through three central ribs of increased stiffness;
- reinforced carcass structure supports the shape of the tire, leveling deformation.
