The special profile of their vertical walls allows for very rigid restriction of block mobility, thereby increasing the stability of traction properties and accuracy of handling on slippery surfaces. The tread part of the tire is made from a rubber compound based on natural rubber and silica dioxide. In combination with the use of modern polymers, this allows the tire to retain elasticity at negative temperatures, along with increased strength and durability, improving resistance to mechanical damage and abrasive wear.
